Kyle Bender, LMFT | Austin Reltaional Therapy for Men

Hi, I'm Kyle.

I’ve been there before. As a husband and father, I know what it’s like to feel the weight of all the expectations of “being a man”. I was the one who held it all together and didn’t show any weakness. That’s what I had been taught to do. 

However, even though I was doing more for myself and my family, it was only pushing us further apart. I thought I was doing what I needed to do, but it wasn’t working. Instead of making progress, I found myself feeling angry, exhausted and anxious. 

It wasn’t until I reached out for help and started to explore my own internal world, that I got relief and saw progress in my external relationships. I had to get to know myself and learn skills that I wasn’t taught growing up. I had to learn how to navigate my emotions, express needs to my partner, and embrace vulnerability. 

Now I help other men navigate their own journey from feeling stuck and engaging in patterns of escaping their life to feeling confident to navigate an enjoy their life. If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect.
